Newsletter # 4 April 4, 2013
Dear Parents and Guardians:
I hope everyone enjoyed their Spring break. At our school site, the sunshine made it possible for the painters to place the first coat of exterior paint on the building. Instead of a “drab” grey school, the building is beginning to look more inviting. Upstairs, there are 8 classrooms that have been dry-walled and are waiting to be painted. Downstairs, classrooms continue to be dry-walled, windows are having their silver moldings installed and the elevator hardware is ready to be installed.
During Spring break, the Township of Langley was also working on their future park next door to the school site. Trees and brushes have been cleared in preparation for future fields.
Other plans continue as well. Furniture, library books, technology and staffing meetings are being held and discussed. Parents and new families continue to enroll their youngsters at Richard Bulpitt as they move into the neighborhood. Please remind families of school-age children to come and register their children before the summer break.
Second Community Meeting: Tuesday April 9th
Please join us for our second community meeting on Tuesday April 9th from 7:00-8:30pm at Lynn Fripps Elementary School, 21020 83rd Ave. Adults and children are welcome. At this meeting we will be touring the school, voting on some playground ideas as well as learning the updates about the new school.
