There are some wonderful displays of primary art work in the downstairs hallways. In Mrs. Cooper's class, students were learning about numbers in the real world. Many classes participated in learning about Remembrance dDay. Thanks to Sgt. Rowan and Mrs. Musyka and our cubs and brownies for helping at the assembly. Our Remembrance day wreaths and displays in the foyer. Our noon hour choir under the direction of Mrs. Curtis started Thursday November 12th. All grade 3,4, and 5 students are invited to join. Math strategies in Mrs. Aurora's class. Great evidence of communicating your learning by showing your peers. Students are working with base ten blocks to show understanding of place value. Understanding is demonstrated through reading response journals in grade one and two. Great example of personal responsibility and self regulation that is present in the new BC Curriculum. Writing about super heroes and learning how to behave in an assembly. Great to see students learning about writing which is one of our school goals in our Action Plan. Big buddies working with little buddies. Evidence of cooperation, collaboration and effective communication together amongst age groups. All of our divisions work with buddies. A directed art lesson. Learning how to paint with water colours.Thanks to our wonderful PAC who always supports our school. Please come to the craft fair on December 5th which will beheld in our gym. Preparing for our Remembrance Day Ceremony on November 10th at 10:45am. All families are invited to come to this special assembly. Lots of pumpkin activities were happening this week in preparation for Halloween. Thanks to all the parents who cams out to help. Ghoulish crafts were decorating the hallways. Lots of costumes were at school onFriday October 30th. There was a costume parade in the afternoon in the gym. Happy Halloween from the Staff at Richard Bulpitt Elementary School!!
