1. This week classes met our RCMP Liaison officer Constable Vonna Fitzgerald. Cst. Vonna visits RBES regularly. She represents one of our community helpers. She also assists teachers in providing information on bike safety, drug awareness and stranger danger. Students always ask her about the "tools" on her tool belt and whether she has arrested people.
Cst. Vonna is always available to assist the school whether it is for educational purposes or to give advice on how to keep our children safe. She is a welcome addition to our team.

2. All week our youngest students have been busy creating masterpieces for Thanksgiving. The hall bulletin boards are showcasing turkeys, cornucopias, corn stalks, pumpkin patches and scarecrows. Literacy activities revolved around Fall, apples, corn, pumpkins and turkeys. Well done to our Kindergarten Bulldogs!
3. Love this turkey tree! Who knew that you could find turkeys in an apple tree. Just a cute example of the art in the halls.
4. Our grade twos are hard at work. Teachers are making sure students are back into routine and schedules. It is amazing how fast students learn the expectations of the individual classrooms. We are hearing lots of stories about children being tired when they come home. This is not unusual for youngsters. Make sure they get lots of downtime after school and a chance to relax for a while before moving to the next activity.
5. Ms. Davies has been very busy in the office. Agendas, school supplies, verification forms, registrations, office supplies, keys and keeping students, parents and teachers happy. Not an easy job! Way to go Ms. Davies, you are the best Bulpitt Bulldog this week!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
