Cross Boundary
Requests
Parents must register in their catchment school first.
The home/catchment school will provide a cross-boundary request form to be taken to the other school.
Parents will receive notification from the cross-boundary school by June 16th whether the admission is approved, denied, or deferred until September (this means you might not know if you have a seat in the cross-boundary school until after school starts.)

REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION
Please note: Proper documentation is essential. Your registration may be delayed if the required documentation is not provided
Student’s Proof of Age (one of the following)
Birth certificate
Certificate of citizenship (must have both sides)
Court Order
Driver’s Licence
Immigration Canada documents (if refugee paperwork, please send a copy to Office Services, SBO).
Passport
Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS), also known as Status Card.
Parents’ Citizenship – (Canadian Citizens) One Parent/Guardian should produce one of the following documents.
Canadian Birth certificate
Canadian passport
Canadian citizenship card
Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS), also known as Status Card.
Landed permanent residents card
Refugee documents from Immigration Canada (with a copy of the Student’s documents, see above)
If Parents/Guardians are on a work permit or a study permit please contact the International Student Program.
